Privacy: What This Site Does and Does Not Collect
Static pages, no accounts, no analytics and no cookies set by this site. Here is exactly what is left, stated plainly rather than in template language.
This site is a set of static pages. It has no accounts, no login, no comment system, no form and no advertising network. It does not set cookies of its own, does not run analytics, and does not build a profile of anyone who reads it.
What the site itself collects
Nothing beyond what any web server records in order to serve a page. A request produces a standard access log entry at the hosting layer, which typically contains an IP address, a timestamp, the path requested, a referrer if the browser sent one, and a user agent string. Those logs exist for operational reasons such as diagnosing errors and identifying abusive traffic, and they are not used to identify individual readers or combined with anything else.
Cookies
The site sets none. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to: no session cookie, no preference cookie, no analytics identifier and no advertising identifier is written by these pages. If your browser shows a cookie for this domain, it did not come from the code of these pages, and the desk would like to hear about it.
Third-party resources
Three external resources are loaded so the pages render as intended, and each one means your browser makes a request to a server this desk does not control.
| Resource | Why it is loaded | What that implies |
|---|---|---|
| A public CDN for the CSS framework and icon font | Layout primitives and interface icons | The CDN provider receives the request and can log it under its own policy |
| A public web font service | The three typefaces the site is set in | The font provider receives the request in the same way |
| Outbound links you choose to follow | Documentation references and one commercial destination | Nothing is sent until you click, and the destination site then applies its own policy |
No third-party script on this site tracks behaviour, records scrolling or reports anything back about what you read. The framework files are static assets; the font files are static assets. If that changes, this page changes with it.
Outbound links
Pages here link to primary documentation and, in a small number of places, to a commercial console relevant to the paragraph containing the link. Following any external link takes you outside this site, and the destination applies its own privacy practices. This desk has no visibility into what you do after you leave and receives no data back about it.
If you write to [email protected], the message and the address it came from are held by the mailbox provider in the ordinary way, and kept only as long as the correspondence is useful. Correspondence is not published, is not added to any list, and is not shared. There is no mailing list on this site to be added to.
Children and jurisdiction
The site is written for a technical adult audience and is not directed at children. It is a publication rather than a service: it holds no accounts, processes no payments and stores no submitted content, which keeps the surface area of this policy small by design.
Changes to this page
If the site ever adds a resource that changes what a browser discloses when it loads a page here, this page is updated in the same edit rather than afterwards. There is no version history to consult, because the honest summary has not changed: static pages, server logs, three external resources, no tracking. Questions about any of it go to the address above.
